The on field success of the Sydney Roosters during the 2015 Season has seen the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest soar into new record breaking heights as we approach the NRL Final Series.
The Sydney Roosters clinical win over South Sydney Rabbitohs for the final round of the regular season saw a further $37,500 contributed to the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest, taking the grand total to an incredible $2,231,644 raised since the partnerships inception in 2010.
The partnership between the Sydney Roosters and major partner Steggles is a unique one and is developing into the envy of other Clubs and sporting organisations, which sees Steggles donate $1000 for every point the Roosters win by, and an additional $250 from the Roosters with all funds donated back to children’s charities.
Children benefiting from the Charity Nest include Children’s Cancer Institute Australia, Lifestart & Children’s Hospital Foundation, Brisbane and Roosters One Community Program.
With over $405,000 being generated from the 2015 Season alone, the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest is set to challenge the record breaking year of money donated during the premiership winning season in 2013.
