Roosters: Captain Braith Anasta is out, replaced by Daniel Mortimer at five-eighth. Nafe Seluini comes onto the bench for his Roosters debut.
Sharks: Plenty of changes for the Sharks. Captain Paul Gallen is out due to an abdominal hernia, while Jayson Bukuya has succumbed to an ankle injury. Replacing then from the bench are Tyson Frizell and Andrew Fifita. Isaac Gordon and Colin Best are out with the flu, and are replaced in the starting side by John Williams and Ricky Leutele.
