Steggles Roosters Charity Nest Applications Now Open

Today the Sydney Roosters and Steggles opened applications for the 2013 Steggles and Roosters Charity Nest’s ‘Charity of Choice’. The chosen charity will join Lifestart, Children’s Health Foundation Queensland and the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia.

Since the Charity Nest began in February 2010, Steggles and the Sydney Roosters have raised more than $630,000 for Australian children’s charities.

Funds are donated to the Nest for every winning point scored by the Roosters throughout the 2013 NRL season.

In addition, Steggles and the Roosters conduct various fundraising initiatives throughout the year.

This year, the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest raised more than $150,000 which was shared amongst the four children’s charities, including the 2012 Charity of Choice, Save Our Sons.

To apply, charities can visit the Steggles Facebook page and click the Charity of Choice tab and complete the questionnaire.

Charities can also visit www.steggles.com.au click the ‘Charity of Choice’ button on the home page, which will direct you to the Facebook page.

Applications will close on 18 January 2013 and the 2013 Charity of Choice will be announced in February 2013.
