Newcastle Knights U20s v Sydney Roosters U20s
Hunter Stadium, Newcastle
Friday, 25 July at 5.20pm

Adam Hartigan has named his side for this Friday evening's NYC clash with the Newcastle Knights at Hunter Stadium, with the Head Coach bringing three new faces into the side that last Saturday overcame the Panthers at Allianz Stadium.

Despite the three new faces - Jakiel Mariner, Alex Lyons, Addison Demetriou -  joining a six man bench, Hartigan has stuck with the starting thirteen that took to the field last Saturday, following the success of the Young Chooks.

Brendan Elliot will again line up in the Holden Cup after Roger Tuivasa-Sheck's successful return to NRL action, with the QLD U20s centre partnering SG Ball Captain Paul Momirovski on the left edge.

Fellow U18s star Latrell Mitchell again starts in the No.1 jersey with Nene Macdonald remaining in the NRL side through the absence of Daniel Tupou and Michael Jennings with injury.

Hartigan will confirm his side on Friday afternoon.

Roosters (1-13): Latrell Mitchell, Paul Momirovski, Brendan Elliot, Taane Milne, Jack Goodsell, Tyler Cornish (vc), Jackson Hastings, Braden Uele, Alex Thomas (c), Jokatama Dokonivalu, Vincent Leuluai, Willis Meehan, Jake Lewis

Bench (14-18, 21): Grant Garvey, Mitch Mamary, Piki Rogers, Jakiel Mariner, Alex Lyons, Addison Demetriou

Our next Home Game is up against the Dragons in a Marvel-inspired battle of EPIC proportions as we transform into Captain America and the St George Illawarra side become Iron Man for Round 21 of the 2014 NRL Premiership.
