Roosters TV catch up with the re-signed Isaac Liu following today's announcement that he has agreed to a contract extension, keeping him at the Club until the end of 2016.

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that dynamic young prop Isaac Liu has agreed to a contract extension, keeping him at the Club until the end of 2016.

23 year-old Liu expressed his delight at extending his contract with the Tricolours.

“I’m so happy to commit to the Roosters, the Club has been great to me and I’m learning so much from Robbo. Hopefully I’ll continue to learn and improve with the team over the next few years,” said Liu.

The re-signing of Liu ensures a core group of players who have come through the Roosters junior ranks together – including Dylan Napa, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Kane Evans – will continue to grow and develop at the Club.

Roosters Head Coach, Trent Robinson, was pleased to have the young forward locked in to the Club’s long-term plans.

“Isaac has worked really hard to get himself to where he is,” said Robinson.

“A quiet achiever, ‘Ice’ is a fierce competitor and with his great work ethic, he will only continue to grow as a player over the coming seasons. It’s really pleasing news for the Roosters to have him locked in to our long-term plans,” he added.

Liu made his NRL debut in Round 4 of the 2013 NRL season. He also made his representative debut with Samoa in the 2014 Pacific Test against Fiji last May.
