The Sydney Roosters have today confirmed the signing of Abraham Papalii to a two-year contract.

“Big, fast and skilful, Abraham is a wide-running back rower with a lot of potential, and we’re pleased to have him join us here at the Roosters,” said Roosters recruitment manager, Peter O’Sullivan.

“Athletically, Abraham is a top-line NRL player. He still has a way to go, but we have no doubt that with some hard work, he’ll add some great depth to our NRL squad,” he added.

21-year-old Papalii joins the Roosters from the New Zealand Warriors. He is yet to make his NRL debut.
