The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that exciting young prop Dylan Napa has signed a two-year extension, keeping him at the Club until the end of 2017.

22 year-old Napa expressed his delight at extending his contract with the Tricolours.

“I am so happy to know that I’ll continue to be a part of the Roosters family for another two seasons,” said Napa.

“I have real trust in Robbo and the coaches and the players. We’re a tight bunch and I’m learning so much,” he added.

Roosters Chief Operating Officer Football, Brian Canavan, said: “We are pleased to have secured Dylan for a further two seasons.

“Dylan has a great blend of youth, talent and coachability, which makes him a long-term proposition for the Club”, he added.

Napa made his NRL debut with the Roosters against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 15 of the 2013 season and has played 33 NRL games to date.

He represented the Prime Minister’s XIII against Papua New Guinea in 2014 and has played three Tests for the Cook Islands (2013 Rugby League World Cup).

This announcement follows news last week that Roosters enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has also penned a two-year extension keeping him at the Club until 2017.
