Trent Robinson’s Roosters have made it two-from-two at home in Season 2015 with a dominant 34-6 win over the Canberra Raiders this afternoon.

The home side didn’t take long to have their Fans out of their seats with their first of the afternoon coming in the third minute of play.

With an intent to attack obvious early on the Roosters opted to take it wide early and after shifting it through the hands to the right edge in quick fashion it was Shaun Kenny-Dowall that dived over for the home side’s first.

Less than ten minutes later and the Tricolours were on the board again as they took it right once again however this time didn’t need to send it the full width as fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck chimed into the backline before dancing his way over the line.

Again the right-hand edge looked dangerous for the home side and after constant pressure the visitors cracked as former Raider and Roosters fan-favourite split the defensive line to dot down for his third try in the Tricolours.

It looked as if Ricky Stuart’s men would head into the break without a point to their name however a perfectly placed grubber popped up into the hands of a chasing Jarrod Croker from a well timed move and the visitors Captain crashed over to score.

That’s where it stayed at the break with the home side leading 28-6 as the teams headed for the sheds.

It wasn’t long after the break before the Roosters again showed their dominance as the ball was shifted wide to the left and into the hands of a waiting Michael Jennings who put on the burners to score outwide.

Not long after the NSW Blues centre had crashed over it was his partner in crime for both Club and State, Daniel Tupou that had the crowd on their feet.

A perfectly placed bomb for Tupou’s corner looked to be controlled by Raiders winger Jordan Rapana however the towering No.2 had different ideas, snatching the ball mid-air before extending his arm to slam it down for his side’s fifth of the day.

The sides exchanged blows under a sunny, Sunday sun as the match rolled on however a break in play down the left edge for Tupou seeing the winger in space to find James Maloney back inside who raced 40m to score and extend the lead to 34-6.

That’s where it stayed with the home side completing another successful outing at Allianz Stadium heading into next Sunday’s clash with the Cronulla Sharks at the same venue.
