Since 1915, one day in the year has involved the whole of Australia in solemn ceremonies of remembrance, gratitude and National pride. That day is ANZAC Day.

The traditional ANZAC Cup clash between the Sydney Roosters and St George Illawarra Dragons is one of the most moving and highly anticipated games on the NRL calendar.  This year will be no different and with a large crowd expected, the raw emotion is there for everyone to feel!

The Roosters and the Dragons have played on Anzac Day since 2002, with a record crowd of 40,752 attending the memorable clash in 2013.

After the Dawn Service and Anzac Day March, come join us at Allianz Stadium to further commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Gallipoli. For the first time, the Sydney Live Plaza here at Allianz Stadium will have a game of two-up being played from 1.30pm, with food and beverage outlets also in operation.

The pre-match ceremony highlights include a Riderless Horse to remember the fallen, Red Berets parachuting into the stadium, delivery of the Anzac Trophy via Helicopter, Australian Army Band, The Ode being read and finally a spine-tingling The Last Post being played. And just before kick off, the teams will line up for the National Anthems of Australia and New Zealand.

Join us as the rugby league family unites to pay its respects to the fallen and those who have served. The commemorative match between the Roosters and Dragons always draws a strong and passionate crowd that make their presence known.

Be a part of the 100th anniversary commemoration of Anzac Day here at Allianz Stadium with Gates opening at 1:30pm and kick off at 4pm.
