New South Wales centre and Man of the Match from Origin II, Michael Jennings, says he's looking forward to a drama-free camp in Coffs Harbour – where the Blues will prepare for next Wednesday's State of Origin decider – as he looks to help his side to back-to-back series victories.

Aware of the work ahead of him, Jennings said early nights and good behaviour will make-up his preparation as he seeks to make amends with coach Laurie Daley and teammates after being arrested for offensive behaviour and hindering police two days after Game Two.

Happy to admit his relief after being named on Tuesday by Daley to play at Suncorp Stadium in the series decider, Jennings is "thankful and excited" for the opportunity to play his 15th Origin game.

"'Loz' has stayed true so it's been pretty exciting and it's good to be back in camp with the boys. Obviously with the situation going the way it did, I was going to be happy with whatever decision 'Loz' made and I'm in the team now so I'm pretty excited," Jennings said.

"I'll just remain confident in my ability and my selection to be able to do a job while I'm [in camp]."

Jennings said he always remained calm following his arrest, and had no arguments with whatever his coach decided. However, the experienced Rooster said he did think he had ruined his chances of playing in the series decider.

"Obviously it's going to go through my head that I'd ruined my opportunity. It came close to that but I'm really just grateful and happy just to be selected and I just want to do my bit for the team.

"'Loz' has a lot of faith in me so there wasn't much said, just the truth really is all I needed to say. He supported me and I thank him a lot for that. I was always going to be happy with the decision he made either way."

After returning to football with a starring performance for the Roosters in their 20-10 win over the Titans on Sunday, Jennings said there weren't any awkward interactions with his fellow Blues at the team announcement.

"There's always going to be pressure but it is always good pressure," Jennings said. "Look, the boys have been supportive and 'Loz' even more so, I was picked for a reason and all I can do is prepare as well as I did last game."
