The Roosters have put on a tremendous performance at Brookvale Oval, cutting down the Manly Sea Eagles final hopes in a 46-10 victory.
They were put under pressure early, with a couple of early scares from the Sea Eagles attack handled well defensively.
After a few near scares, the Roosters managed to get up the other end of the field and score through Brendan Elliot within ten minutes, after receiving a nice ball from Aidan Guerra.
The pressure from the Sea Eagles continued, but the Roosters would again hold their line.
They got up the other end through back-to-back penalties, and Elliot was awarded a double on the back of some slick passing from the Roosters.
It worked somewhat like déjà vu, with the Roosters being put under more pressure by the Sea Eagles, surviving and getting up the other end of the field.
The Roosters would score their third try of the night through Guerra, on the back of a nice kick from Jackson Hastings.
The Sea Eagles would strike back in fine fashion to close the half, with a clever flick pass from Brett Stewart putting Jamie Lyon over.
An intense opening half ends with the Roosters holding a 16-6 lead.
The second half would open perfectly for the Roosters, and in particular Elliot.
He went over for his third try of the night on the back of some clever footwork and a nice pass from Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
You would never guess that the Roosters were on top on the scoreboard, with the Sea Eagles turning up and putting plenty of pressure on the Roosters on numerous occasions.
In the back end of the game, the Roosters turned dominant. Daniel Tupou scored a double in two straight sets of six, one through a big leap and the other a long range effort.
With ten minutes remaining, an ex Rooster would chime in on the scoreboard when Tom Symonds barged over for the Sea Eagles.
This wouldn’t slow down the Roosters though, with Tupou claiming his hat-trick only minutes later on the back of some crisp passing.
The last try of the game was an absolute classic, with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck breaking the line, going for a huge run and popping a ball to Isaac Liu to send him over.
A clinical performance and eleven straight wins in a row for the Roosters.
