The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Stone to the part-time role of Central Coast Coaching and Pathways Coordinator.

The Roosters have an existing partnership with the CRL Central Coast Division, providing a series of talent development pathways and participation development initiatives for local players, coaches, support staff, match officials and administrators. The Club is also proud to have a primary affiliation with the Wyong Roos in the NSW Cup.

In assuming the role, Stone will be an advocate for the development pathway for aspiring players who live on the Central Coast.

“Its great news for the Central Coast and our Club and partners to have Rick assume this important developmental role,” said Brian Canavan, Roosters Chief Operating Officer, Football.

“Rick will work closely with the Centurions coaching staff and players and will be heavily involved in coach education and upskilling for the Central Coast division’s Junior and Senior coaches. Rick will also participate in rugby league-related community programs across the Central Coast,” he added.

Roosters Head Coach, Trent Robinson, was also pleased to have Stone on board.

“Having previously worked with Rick, it’s really pleasing to have someone with his experience and philosophies on coaching and player development take on this role,” said Robinson.
