The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that Isaac Liu has signed a contract extension for a further two years, keeping him at the Club until the end of 2018.

The 24 year-old hard-running prop expressed his delight at extending his contract with the Foundation Club.

“The Club and all the people here mean so much to me and to know that I’ll continue to be part of the Roosters family for a further two years is something I’m really happy about,” said Liu.

“I’ve learnt so much from Robbo and the coaches over the last few years, so I’m excited to know that I’ll continue to work on my game and be part of the team we have here,” he added.

Roosters Head Coach, Trent Robinson, was pleased to have Liu re-commit to the Club.

“Isaac has worked really hard to get where he is today, and it’s a credit to the man he is,” said Robinson.

“A man who prefers to let his actions do the talking, Isaac’s commitment to the team is tireless and it’s great to know that he will continue to grow and develop at our Club for a further two years,” he added.

A member of the Roosters NYC squad in 2011, Liu made his NRL debut with the Club in Round 4 of the 2013 NRL season and has played 70 first grade games to date.

He has represented Samoa on five occasions (2014-15) and was a member of New Zealand’s squad for the three test series against England in late 2015.
