The Sydney Roosters are thrilled to announce that one-club man Mitchell Aubusson has today re-committed for a further three years, keeping him at the Club until the end of 2019.

“It’s an honour to wear the Roosters jersey and I honestly couldn’t see myself playing anywhere else,” said Aubusson.

“I’ve been with the Roosters since I was 16 and the Club and everyone who’s a part of it mean the world to me,” he added.

Roosters Head Coach, Trent Robinson, was also pleased to have Aubusson locked in to the Club’s long-term plans.

“Mitch is a true Clubman and someone not only I but everyone at the Roosters values,” said Robinson.

“Mitch is a significant contributor to the team on the field, but just as importantly, he’s a man who also leads by example away from the footy field, and to ensure that we have him here for a number of years is great news for the Roosters,” he added.

28 year-old Aubusson is a two-time recipient of the Roosters prestigious James Mathews Award for Clubman of the Year (2011, 2015) and is currently contesting his 10th season of first grade. He made his NRL debut with the Tricolours in the opening round of the 2007 season and has played 205 games with the Foundation Club to date.
