Kane regularly donates his own time to help change the lives of those less fortunate whenever possible.
Over the last 18 months, Kane has been working with the charity COCOS – Coptic Orthodox Community Outreach Services spending quality time with the people on the streets of the inner-city Sydney suburb of Woolloomooloo taking food, blankets and clothing at every visit.
Kane is an ambassador at the local PCYC in Daceyville where he volunteers on a weekly basis by helping the underprivileged kids keep fit by encouraging them to train whilst creating a fun and positive environment to boost morale.
As a motivational speaker for the Hillsong Youth Church Groups, Kane regularly attends youth programs across Sydney to share his story and promote key messages about making the right choices and living out their dreams.
As a proud Fijian, one of Kane’s biggest passions is helping the disadvantaged back in Fiji.
After Tropical Cyclone Winston devastated the island nation earlier this year, Kane rallied his Roosters teammates and organised signed merchandise for to auction off and was instrumental in coordinating a signed jersey from each of the 16 NRL clubs to auction off.
Outside the of Club’s day-to-day community commitments, Kane is the first one to volunteer for a community appearance and is an ambassador for the Roosters Against Racism program.
