Roosters Tour - Tuesday November 29th

The Sydney Roosters were delighted to have 15 rugby league students from Rutherford Technology High School down to watch the squad train last Tuesday.

The students who are currently playing rugby league at school were able to watch some of their favourite players practice drills, and were given an insight on the level of fitness and endurance required to be a professional NRL player.

At the conclusion of the training session, the students were able to get a signature and take a photo with the boys.

Backyard League - Tuesday November 29th

The Sydney Roosters were out at Queens Park last Tuesday afternoon, providing giveaways and prizes for students from St Charles Catholic School.

The students took part in a 45 minute backyard league session which focuses on introducing students to rugby league in a safe way.

Randwick city council coaching clinic – Wednesday 30th November 2016

On Wednesday November 30th, Burrows Park Clovelly hosted the Randwick City Council Coaching Clinic.

The clinic was run by players from the Sydney Roosters squad and NRL staff. 

There were over 400 participants thoughout the day that were able to visit eight different stations featuring different players with different drills. 

 

From tackling bags and bump pads to friendly games of touch football, the clinic had something to suit everyone.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants received a show bag full of Roosters goodies to take home and enjoy.

The players formed a tunnel for the children to run through and receive their show bag at the end of the tunnel.
