1. Darius Boyd (Broncos)

The Broncos skipper was inspirational again, laying on his side's first two tries with pin-point perfect passes for winger Corey Oates and turning up continually in the right place to snuff out Rabbitohs' try-scoring opportunities.

2. Anthony Don (Titans)

A longrange break led to a crucial Titans try, he had seven tackle breaks and ran for more than 200 metres but the Titans flyer's performance will be best remembered for the incredible effort to escape his side's own in-goal with only a couple of minutes remaining to give Gold Coast another set in possession.

3. Dylan Walker (Sea Eagles)

Put in a performance that those in Canberra wearing lime green won't forget in a hurry. Scored a slashing second half try to get his side back on level terms, missed two shots at goal, shaped up to fight the entire Canberra team after his second miss and then hit the post with a penalty goal in golden point that fell over the crossbar and won his team the game.

4. Will Chambers (Storm)

Brilliant long-range burst to set up the try for Cooper Cronk and not only threatened the Warriors' left edge with his sharp right foot step but kept Kieran Foran in check with some aggressive defence, making 22 tackles and missing just two.

5. David Nofoaluma (Wests Tigers)

Finished off a slick Wests Tigers movement to score his side's first try but was all about the power from that point on, running for 256 metres with six tackle busts that gave his side much-needed momentum in their arm wrestle with the Bulldogs.

6. Anthony Milford (Broncos)

At the heart of all the Broncos' creativity and two highly controversial plays late in the game that swung the result the way of his team. Came within millimetres of scoring the tying try before dumping it out the back for Tautau Moga, slotted the conversion to tie the scores at 24-all and then broke bunny hearts with a left-footed field goal in the 78th minute that ultimately proved the difference.

7. Mitchell Pearce (Roosters)

Showed lightning-fast reflexes to regather the ball to score the try that put his side in front for the first time in another Anzac Day epic and then nerves of steel to slot the field goal that not only sealed the win for his team but perhaps a Blues Origin recall.

8. Jarrod Wallace (Titans)

Backed up his stats against the Broncos with another massive effort against the Sharks, running for 175m and making 39 tackles in 63 minutes. Fast going from Origin bolter to front-running option for Maroons coach Kevin Walters.

9. Cameron Smith (Storm)

No, Smith's name isn't pencilled in before every round each week but when you come up with two crucial plays for tries with the game in the balance to go with 35 tackles and 162 kick metres you earn your place in the Team of the Week. We'll even forgive the uncharacteristic off night with the boot.

10. Martin Taupau (Sea Eagles)

A dominant display from the Manly powerhouse whose 171 running metres and aggression in the middle of the park earned him the Anzac Medal as man of the match.

11. Boyd Cordner (Roosters)

It was a typical Boyd Cordner performance but that should in no way take away from just how impressive it was. Played the entire 85 minutes in a brutal encounter, ran for a team-high 203 metres, made 37 tackles and threatened to break the Dragons' stiff defence with almost every carry.

12. Ethan Lowe (Cowboys)

Been relegated to the Cowboys bench in recent weeks with the emergence of Coen Hess but reminded everyone just how effective he can be with a powerful stint against the Knights.

13. Sam Burgess (Rabbitohs)

Another enormous effort from the South Sydney skipper who did everything he could to carry his team across the line, running for 200m and making 34 tackles in an inspirational 80-minute effort.

14. Corey Norman (Eels)

Twice in the right place at the right time to score after kicks and provided the kick himself for his team's only other try with a pin-point perfect kick to the corner for Semi Radradra to score. Accumulated an impressive 168 running metres along with five tackle breaks and 378 kick metres.

15. Addin Fonua-Blake (Sea Eagles)

Against the much-vaunted Raiders pack it was Fonua-Blake who made the most significant impact off the bench, racking up 174 metres from 15 carries in 37 minutes, second only to Jake Trbojevic for the Sea Eagles.

16. Aaron Woods (Wests Tigers)

Didn't get the greeting he would have expected from Tiger fans but put a week of speculation to the side to lead his team with great purpose, running for a season-best 215 metres and making 26 tackles in 64 minutes.

17. Nelson Asofa-Solomona (Storm)

Emerged from the Melbourne bench like the colossus that he is to have an immediate impact, steamrolling his way past three Warriors defenders to register the Storm's first points. Everything he did was done with great purpose, smashing even the biggest Warriors runners in defence and coming up with four tackle busts and three offloads. Perhaps the best game of his young career.
