The Sydney Roosters have been saddened to hear of the passing of former club official, John Rodney Boland.
Known as “Rod”, he was a significant contributor to Eastern Suburbs throughout the 1980s and 1990s as Club Historian and Secretary of the Junior Schoolboys Rugby League. Rod also assisted the Club as a Timekeeper across this time; a position he held with the Roosters until 2005.
The Sydney Roosters extend their condolences to the family and friends of Rod at this sad time.
The funeral service for John Rodney Boland will be held at midday on Tuesday, July 18 at Palmdale Lawn Cemetery & Memorial Park (57 Palmdale Rd, Palmdale).
