Sydney Roosters NYC young-gun has been named in the PNG Kumals squad ahead of the Rugby League World Cup's kick off in late October.

Lachlan Lam had a standout season with the young Roosters in 2017, looking right at home in the five eighth position and providing his team with plenty of scoring opportunities. 

Lam will join former Roosters Nene McDonald and Rhys Martin in a big PNG squad that will kick off their campaign against Wales on the 28th of October
