The two day Super Awesome Kids Camps were a big hit with the kids over the school holidays.
Aimed at all levels and abilities, participants spent a fun two days playing a range of sports including rugby league, soccer, basketball, netball and dance.
Camp highlights included player appearances from Roosters stars Michael Gordon and Zane Tetevano, Rocky the Rooster and the Roosters Girls.
Kick starting the holiday camps were the Super Sports and Dance camps held at the Kippax Lake Fields on Tuesday the 3rd and Wednesday the 4th October.
The children enjoyed playing rugby league in the morning and after lunch had the chance to sample soccer, netball and basketball.
They practiced skills and drills that are used in each individual game while the girls and boys on the dance camp learned choreography from the Sydney Roosters Girls very own cheer coach Robyn Parras.
A specially choreographed dance was rehearsed and performed to all parents and guests who attended the event at the end of the day.
Day two of the camps provided participants with the opportunity to experience a behind the scenes tour of the Allianz Stadium home and away change rooms.
They got to view where the boys go for ice baths, the Doctor’s assessment room, the Physiotherapist area and also the warm up section of the facilities.
Later in the day the kids made their way to the NRL Learning Centre where they were involved in a wellbeing educational session, which was led by the NRL community department.
To end the day, the kids participated in a World Cup Touch Football tournament.

The next day was the Central Coast based camps, held on Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th of October at Ted Doyle Oval, Berkeley Vale.
Attendees were again treated to two full days of multi-sports, dance, arts and crafts.
To top it off, they were treated to an appearance from Rocky the Rooster and Roosters star Zane Tetevano.
Led by NRL Game Development Officers, the children began the day by practising rugby league drills which taught the fundamental skills needed in the game of rugby league in a safe and friendly way.
These skills were later put to practice when the attendees took part in a World Cup themed game of touch football.
Attendees were placed into groups representing a selected country and took part in an arts and crafts session which had the children painting their team’s country flags.
The participants were joined by Roosters star Zane Tetevano who was happy to lend a hand when it came to teaching the children some passing, kicking and safe tackling techniques.
Zane also presented the participants with their showcase bags and certificates at the conclusion of the camps.
The children were also joined by the Roosters Girls cheer coach on the Central Coast and were given the opportunity to learn some fun and inclusive choreography.
All attendees went home with Roosters giveaways, exclusive holiday camp t-shirts, certificates and many newly formed friendships.
