NRL Round 7 Judiciary Update: James Tedesco & Jared Waerea-Hargreaves

Both James Tedesco and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves have entered early guilty pleas in relation to their respective charges after being cited by the Match Review Committee in Round 7. 

As a result, Tedesco will receive a monetary fine of $750, while Waerea-Hargreaves will receive a monetary fine of $1800.

Both players will be available for selection for the Roosters’ Round 8 ANZAC Day Cup match.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 7 match against the Melbourne Storm, James Tedesco and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves have been cited by the Match Review Committee.

Waerea-Hareaves was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge for an incident that occurred in the 8th minute of the match. 

Should Waerea-Hargreaves elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a monetary fine of $1800. 

Tedesco was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge (Tripping) for an incident that occurred in the 71st minute of the match. 

Should Tedesco elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a monetary fine of $750. If found guilty at the judiciary, however, he will receive a monetary fine of $1000. 

Both players will be available for the Roosters' ANZAC Day Cup match against the St George Illawarra Dragons on Thursday afternoon. 

Tedesco and Waerea-Hargreaves have until Monday at 12pm to enter his plea.

There were no other judiciary concerns for the other players that featured in the match.
