Sydney Roosters duo Willis Meehan and Vincent Leuluai have been selected in the Australian Schoolboys rugby league team.

In great news for the club, both players have risen through the Sydney Roosters junior ranks and are highly rated by everyone at the clubs.

It is the second year in a row, Meehan has been selected in the side.

Both players were selected as props with Leuluai selected in the starting team with Meehan to come off the bench.

Amazingly Meehan was last year selected as a winger but due to his massive frame and great agility will this year pack down in the middle of the field.

Meehan recently represented the NSW U/18 side in their massive victory over QLD in the curtain raiser to Origin 2 at Suncorp Stadium.

Holden Cup Assistant Coach Adam Hartigan has worked with both players and said the selections were completely justified thanks to the hard work both players put in.

"Vincent goes to school in Campbelltown and then catches the train all the way in to the city and back every week to train," he said.

"He is an incredibly committed and hard working, tough young player who has a big future at the club."

"Willis is very similar in the hard work he puts in and the effort he constantly displays at training."

"They are both good young men who more than deserve their place."
