The Sydney Roosters will travel west this Friday night in a bid to make it six wins in a row when they face off with the Penrith Panthers in the opening match of Round 21.

Trent Robinsons side are coming off the back of a brutal encounter with the Knights last Sunday in Newcastle and will be without star backrower Sonny Bill Williams for this and next weekends matches due to a two-week suspension.

Williams was handed a two week ban for a careless high tackle on former team mate Willie Mason in the 15th minute of the 28-12 win at Hunter Stadium.

Mitchell Aubusson has been promoted to the starting line-up in Williams absence and will add plenty of experience outside halfback Mitchell Pearce, with the backrower one of just five players to have appeared in all 18 games played by the Roosters so far in 2013.

Aubusson will slot in down the right edge with Pearce, Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in an exciting-looking combination, however it will be the left edge that will have most of the attention with former Panther Michael Jennings playing his first-ever game at Centrebet Stadium against Penrith.

The local junior made the move to Bondi at the beginning of the 2013 season after 122 games and 71 tries for the Western Sydney Club.

Since making the move Jennings has scored 12 tries in 17 matches for the Tricolours and formed a lethal combination with winger Daniel Tupou and James Maloney down the left edge, so much so that the latter was also his partner in crime down the same side for NSW in this years Origin Series.

Ahead of the return to Penrith Jennings caught up with Roosters.com.au exclusively to chat about how hes feeling as he faces off with good mates in front of fans and Members who were once in his corner.

The Panthers are coming off the back of two loses in the last two weeks, to Newcastle and Cronulla, but are no easy beats at home and could find themselves in the Top 8 with a win over the competitions second-placed side.
