We're well and truly approaching the business end of the season and it is our second battle for the year against a Sharks side who will no doubt be looking for revenge from the 40-0 hammering we dished out to them in Round 19.
The Sharks were without some very key personnel for that clash and those returning representative players will be determined to prove they are a much better team than they showed on that occasion.
Adding to that is the fact that they are fighting to finish the regular season as high as possible heading in to the finals series.
Currently sitting 6th on the ladder, having won three of their last five clashes the Sharks have been scrapping their way to victory of late and will be looking for more of the tough, aggressive, direct style of play on Monday night.
Luckily for the Tricolours they have played in much the same style this season and will be prepared for the battle again the boys from the Shire.
The Roosters come in to the game sitting first on the premiership ladder and looking for a 9th victory in a row.
Coach Trent Robinson has done a great job of making sure the boys are 'up' for every game this year and it should be no different on Monday as the boys look to improve on their defensive performances to ensure we come away with the two points.
In the only change from the side that beat the Wests Tigers last Monday night, Samisoni Langi drops out of the seventeen in place of Dylan Napa.
Napa has been named on the bench alongside Daniel Mortimer, Luke O'Donnell and Isaac Liu.
Langi's absence sees Mitchell Aubusson return to the centres after lining up in the backrow against the Tigers.
