The Sydney Roosters put in a dominant performance defeating the Wests Tigers 30-6 at Allianz Stadium.

The two left edge players in Michael Jennings and Daniel Tupou starred on the night running in two tries each to seal victory for the home side.

The first half was a grinding encounter with both sides going toe to toe.

Daniel Tupou broke the dead lock when he did well to beat three defenders and slam the ball down.

James Maloney then showed his class bursting through before passing off to Jennings who sprinted over to extend the lead.

A brilliantly worked back line movement then saw Tupou finish off his second to send the Tricolours in to the sheds up by fourteen.

The momentum didn't stop in the second half, Jennings making in two tries a piece for the right edge players.

A beautiful long pass not long later and Tupou was again away, this time passing inside to Boyd Cordner who sprinted away to seal the result for the home side.

A lucky deflection late in the game handed Chris Lawrence a consolation for the visitors but the Roosters  once again extended the lead when Mitch Pearce took full advantage of a Tigers dropped bomb to crash over.

Daniel Tupou received the Player's Player Award from the victory.
