Boyd Cordner suffered a syndesmosis injury in last Saturday's loss to the North Queensland Cowboys, resulting in the backrower leaving the field in the first half without return.
Cordner will undergo surgery tonight (Wednesday, 21 May) and it is expected that he will be unavailable for selection for 6-8 weeks.
A further update on Cordner will be provided when he commences rehabilitation.
