Sam Moa has tonight been unsuccessful in having his Grade 1 Contrary Conduct charge overturned at the NRL Judiciary.

The Club entered a plea of not guilty for Moa following his charge from an incident involving contact with a match official in the fourth minute of the Roosters Round 14 clash against the New Zealand Warriors, which the NRL Judiciary did not accept at a hearing earlier this evening.

Consequently, Moa will be unavailable for selection for one match through suspension.

Moa’s replacement for this Monday’s Round 15 match against the St George Illawarra Dragons will be confirmed one hour prior to kick off on Monday night.
