Kane Evans spoke to the media yesterday afternoon ahead of the Roosters Round 25 clash with the Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval.

He spoke about his recent rise to fame, the infamous shoulder charge and the big job ahead this weekend.

With the loss of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, there are big shoes to fill in the forwards.

When asked what the forwards have to do, Kane kept it short and sweet.

"We've got to lift at training," he said.

"It's a big ask, but we'll be sweet."
