The last finalist has been decided for the VB Hard Earned Effort of the year vote, with the winner of part four pushing through to the finale by less than 1% of the fans votes.

Though Captain Boyd Cordner's final run to draw the penalty and get the win over the Sharks was a big moment in the 2017 season, our bruising defensive set against the Cowboys in Round 21 has edged ahead in the votes by just 1 vote.

It was a massive and game-changing moment of the game, and would be a fair part of the reason that the Tricolours would come away from that one with two competition points.

The Round 21 VB Hard Earned Effort will now join Mitchell Pearce's cluth field goals and Latrell Mitchell's first career hat-trick in the final round of voting to decide the Hard Earned Effort of the year.
