Following the Sydney Roosters’ bruising 80-minute battle against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Thursday night, the Roosters ended the match with one incident to report.

Captain Jake Friend was forced from the field early in the second half after receiving an elbow to the head while attempting a tackle.  

He will undergo the NRL’s concussion protocols as required.

All other Rooster players pulled through the match without injury concern.
