Interstate Members Form Guard Of Honour In Round 11

On the night of our clash with the Brisbane Broncos in Round 11, thirteen of our Brisbane Interstate Members were on field to form a guard of honour for the boys as they took to the field for warm up ahead of kick off at Suncorp Stadium.

The Sydney Roosters have great Members support in Brisbane, with over 1,000 making the pledge to the Club in 2018.

The Members that formed the guard of honour got a real buzz from the experience and the Club received nothing but positive feedback from them about the experience.

Brothers Sam and Ben O'Brien were thrilled to be on board with the rest of the Members to welcome the boys onto the field.

"We're absolutely stoked to have had the opportunity, it felt a bit like Christmas morning," Sam said of the experience.

"I'm so grateful for this and I love being a Member."

Tod and Lara Beckett are second year Interstate Members and travel from five hours away to come to our games at Suncorp Stadium, while Cruz Williamson travelled from two hours away for the game as well as the meet and greet the night before.

The Sydney Roosters would like to thank all of our Interstate Members that made the trip to watch us play at Suncorp Stadium last Friday night.
