The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter a Not Guilty plea after Jared Waerea-Hargreaves was cited by the NRL Match Review Committee in Round 25.
Waerea-Hargreaves received a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge for an incident that occurred in the 73rd minute of the match on Rabbitohs player Liam Knight.
Should he be found not guilty at panel, Waerea-Hargreaves will be available for selection for the Roosters’ Qualifying Final.
If the Club is unsuccessful in making his case, he will receive 195 points and be suspended for one match.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday night.
