The Sydney Roosters are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former player Barry O'Connell.
O'Connell, Rooster #466, played 65 games for the Club between 1956-1959, while also representing NSW Country Seconds. Mr O'Connell also played alongside brothers Ron and Wally, all of whom were Eastern Suburbs Juniors.
The Sydney Roosters extend their heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Barry O'Connell at this time.
