NRLW Line Up for Round 8 vs Knights

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line-up for Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium.

With the 2023 Minor Premiership and a home Semi Final on the line, the Tricolours will be determined to secure their sixth-straight win when they come up against the reigning Premiers.

John Strange has made a couple of changes to the line-up for Round 8, most notably naming Lily Rogan to make her NRLW debut off the interchange bench.

Jayme Fressard returns to the team after recovering from a concussion to take Jessica Sergis’ place in the centres.

Corban Baxter has been named to start at fullback, with star try-scoring duo Brydie Parker and Mia Wood on the wings. Fressard joins Skipper Isabelle Kelly in the centres.

Tarryn Aiken and Jocelyn Kelleher will continue their combination in the halves after guiding the Tricolours to a comfortable win over the Eels last week.

Millie Boyle, Keeley Davis and Mya Hill-Moana retain their positions in the front row, while Otesa Pule, Olivia Kernick and Keilee Joseph complete the starting side in the back row.

Rogan will feature on the interchange bench alongside Grace Hamilton, Pani Hopoate and Amelia Pasikala.

Teuila Fotu-Moala, Lexi Kiriwi, Joeli Morris, Tyler Bentley and Sergis have been named on the extended bench.

You can purchase your tickets to Saturday’s clash here from 3:00pm on Wednesday. If you can’t make it to Newcastle, be sure to head to Easts Bondi Junction, where you can watch both the NRLW and NRL matches live and loud on the big screens!
