Roosters R.E.A.D
The Roosters R.E.A.D program is a program designed to engage young readers aged 7+, in particular those who may be reluctant readers.
It teaches young people about the importance of reading as a life skill, as well as showcasing how enjoyable reading for pleasure can be.
Using the Rugby League Reads resource, Sydney Roosters ambassadors visit schools to deliver a reading session and assist teachers with their lesson plans.
The program uses the profiles of NRL teams and players to create excitement in the classroom.
This program is suitable for years K – 6.
