Celebrating Our Community Heroes: Emergency Services Match

Join us on Sunday 23rd August at Allianz Stadium for our inaugural Emergency Services Match, proudly sponsored by Police Bank, as we celebrate the incredible volunteers and everyday heroes who work tirelessly to keep our community safe.

The excitement starts well before kick-off, with the precinct opening into a family-friendly celebration packed with emergency services vehicles, interactive activations and plenty of opportunities to get involved. Get up close with the people and vehicles behind our emergency services and soak up the atmosphere as Allianz Stadium comes alive for a huge day of footy.

The action gets underway with the NSW Police Force taking on the Australian Firefighters in our curtain-raiser, before the NRLW Roosters face the NZ Warriors, followed by the NRL Roosters taking on the Wests Tigers.

With three exciting games, live entertainment, interactive fan experiences, delicious food and beverages, and activities for the whole family, there’s plenty happening from the moment you arrive. Bring the family, celebrate our community heroes and make a day of it at Allianz Stadium as we cheer on the Tricolours!

Arrive Early

Head to the Precinct on Driver Avenue before the game and check out our Partner activations:

• Emergency Services Precinct Activations - Throughout the day, VRA Rescue NSW, Fire & Rescue NSW, Marine Rescue NSW, Ambulance NSW, NSW Police Force, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW State Emergency Service and Surf Life Saving NSW will be bringing a range of vehicles and pop-up activations to the precinct. Families and fans can get up close to the vehicles, explore the activations and learn more about the people and services working to keep our communities safe.

NRL Pre Game

• Emergency Services Field Representation - The moment begins with a helicopter landing with the match ball, before representatives from VRA Rescue NSW, Fire & Rescue NSW, Marine Rescue NSW, Ambulance NSW, NSW Police Force, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW State Emergency Service and Surf Life Saving NSW take to the field, showcasing their operational colours and recognising the incredible work they do to keep our communities safe.

NRL Half-Time

• Surf Life Saving NSW Show - The NRL half-time break will showcase Surf Life Saving NSW, featuring a vehicle parade and a celebration of the volunteers and Nippers who play an important role in keeping our beaches and communities safe. The showcase will include a march past and a range of highlights recognising the dedication of Surf Life Saving NSW members.
