In a record-breaking night, the Sydney Roosters round 4 wins against the Parramatta Eels in the NRL and NYC has netted the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest a whopping $63,500.

This is the single biggest donation to the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest since 2010.

The Sydney Roosters 50-0 victory against the Parramatta Eels in Monday Night Football raised an impressive $62,500, with $1,000 also contributed following the clubs win in the NYC earlier in the evening.

Both Steggles and the Sydney Roosters have a long and proud Australian history with a drive to assist the community and charities, and a key component of the successful partnership between the two organisations since 2010 is the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest initiative.

Along with other fundraising opportunities, the Charity Nest continues to be an integral contributor to funds raised. The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest sees Steggles donate $1,000 for every point the Sydney Roosters beat their opposition by in the 2013 season, with the Sydney Roosters also contributing $250 a point. The Sydney Roosters also contribute $1,000 for every win the clubs NYC team records in the season.

Since 2010, the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest has raised $911,233 for Australian childrens charities and Monday nights result has brought us closer to our target of hitting the $1 million mark in 2013.

The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest supports Childrens Cancer Institute Australia (CCIA), Lifestart, Childrens Health Foundation Queensland and the 2013 Charity of Choice the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC).
