Plenty of anticipation around our young guns this weekend as they take on the highly fancied Panthers at Allianz Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

The Panthers are so far, undefeated in the Holden Cup this season, whilst our 20s have been in fine form themselves, coming in to this clash in 6th position and off the back of a massive victory over the Dragons on Anzac Day.

Coach Paul Green has consistently pushed the need for the team to put in an 80 minute performance and after finally doing it last week, the young Roosters led by captain Rhyse Martin, are keen to make sure they can repeat the effort.

With the core majority of players having now settled themselves in the starting side, the Roosters are determined to show what they can do again the competition front runners.

Coming off the back of an impressive month of football, including a man of the match performance in the Tonga v Samoa clash, five-eighth Samisoni Langi will be heavily relied upon, along with his halves partner Tyler Cornish.

Of course you don't beat the best without winning the forward battle and the Tricolours are well served in that department with U/20s Origin representatives Martin and Tago as well as the hard working back rower Jack Siejka.

If they hold up the middle and manage to get in a solid wrestle with a previously dominant Panthers pack, the Roosters can be a great chance of knocking off our visitors from the West for the first time this year, so make sure you get out to Allianz Stadium early and support the boys.
