Holiday Camp II
After the hugely successful inaugural school holiday camp in April this year, Sydney Roosters ran their second holiday camp on July 4.
Hosted by Roosters legend Freddy Fitler and special appearances by One Community Ambassadors Nathan Hindmarsh and Mario Fenech the sold out event saw 260 little Roosters take part in a day jam packed full of activities including backyard league, goal kicking practice on the home of the Roosters Allianz Stadium, cheer and hip hop dance, a behind the scenes stadium tour, and a special visit by Roosters players Sonny Bill Williams, Sam Moa and Daniel Mortimer.
The participants also get a chance to take part in a lap around Allianz stadium at our next home game against Cronulla Sharks on Saturday 20 July.
Dance Camp
This school holidays saw the introduction of Sydney Roosters first Dance Camp. The sold out event had over 100 girls and boys learning a variety of dance techniques including hip hop, cheer and pop routines.
Led by Sydney Roosters head choreographer and assisted by Roosters cheer girls, attendees got the opportunity to see what it takes to become a Sydney Roosters Cheerleader and learnt their very own routine that will be performed at the Roosters next home game against the Sharks on July 20 infront of thousands of Roosters fans.
2013 is the first year Sydney Roosters has hosted holiday camps. Due to the huge success we will continue to hold these camps in the future so keep an eye out on the website for information for the next Sydney Roosters Holiday Camp.
