The week that all Roosters Fans have been waiting for since our Grand Final glory on October 6 last year has finally arrived with the first World Club Challenge match to be played in Australia in 20 years now just five days away and Tickets are still available, so secure yours now and be a part of history this Saturday night at Allianz Stadium.

The Wigan Warriors have arrived down under following a warm up match across the ditch against the New Zealand Warriors last Wednesday night and will be raring to go come this Saturday when they chase their third trophy of the season, following Super League and Challenge Cup glory in 2013.

However standing in their way is Trent Robinson, Anthony Minichiello and a Roosters side keen to continue on what they began building last season after a clean sweep of the NRL with Minor Premiership and Premiership glory.

Skipper Minichiello was a member of the last Tricolours side to contest a World Club Challenge, when the Roosters beat St Helens 38-0 in 2003.

“The World Club Challenge is a great spectacle, and we're excited to be hosting the game at our home ground, Allianz Stadium," said Minichiello.

“Wigan are a strong outfit and it’s definitely going to be a challenge for us, but we're keen to maintain and build on the standards we set last season and will be playing to win.”

"I know plenty of tickets have been sold but there's still some available and we certainly want to see a full crowd of Red, White and Blue here at our house for a match of this magnitude."

"It's going to be a special night for players and Fans of the Club, we're excited and ready to rip in and represent."

This is a match not to be missed by any Roosters or rugby league Fan and with Tickets still on sale, there's no reason not to be there when the world's two best Club sides go head-to-head for the crown of World Club Champions.
