Roosters Vice-Captain Boyd Cordner has this afternoon been named in Tim Sheens Australian Squad for Friday night's Trans-Tasman clash with New Zealand at Allianz Stadium.

Cordner was a member of last year's World Cup winning Kangaroos side and has been named on the bench in the side that will take on the Kiwi's at the Roosters home ground this coming Friday.

Cordner will join his Aussie team mates in camp from tomorrow, Monday 28 April, before a week's preparation for the annual clash.

Michael Jennings, who was a member of last year's RLWC winning side, was overlooked by selectors for the seventeen.
