Sydney Roosters lock Adian Guerra will run out tonight for the Queensland Maroons attempting to continue Queensland’s eight year State of Origin dominance.

Guerra made a great State of Origin debut for Queensland in Game 1, making 56 metres and 21 tackles from just a short time on the field, coming off the bench at Suncorp Stadium.

After a breakout 2013 season winning the NRL Premiership with the Sydney Roosters, Guerra was rewarded by being selected in the Italy squad alongside club captain Anthony Minichiello in the Rugby League World Cup.

Guerra’s form in 2014 has also been excellent for the reigning Premiers, averaging 82 metres and a staggering 30 tackles per game.

The proud Queenslander will be hoping to emulate his 2014 form when he runs out tonight for Queensland.
