Mitchell Pearce and Nathan Smith’s combating bullying on the Central Coast

Roosters Captain Mitchell Pearce and Nathan Smith made the trip to the Central Coast last Friday to speak to Year 7 students about bullying as part of the club’s anti-bullying campaign.

The Roosters pair shared their own experiences about Cyber bullying, how it impacted them and how they overcame the issue. Another key area discussed was strategies to deal with bullying using the five finger strategy, stay calm, respond confidently, stand strong, walk away and report it

The next 12 months see the Anti-Bullying Program delivered to 20 schools on the Central Coast and the Eastern Suburbs.

Dylan Napa at Galilee Catholic Primary School

Roosters forward Dylan Napa made a surprise visit to Galilee Primary School to present medals to their junior boys rugby league team, winners of the recent 2015 Catholic Schools League Tag Competition.

Unfortunately the competition was called off mid-way through the day, but all 52 teams still had an enjoyable morning.

Holy Cross A, Kincoppal and Galilee all ended on the same points, but GALILEE won it on for and against.

Congratulations Galilee!
