Roosters Head Coach Trent Robinson spoke with media in Townsville earlier today as the team finalises their preparations ahead of their Round 3 match against the Cowboys on Thursday night.

A wide range of topics were covered in the media opportunity, with Robinson asked his views on the 5-day turnaround, the development of the younger members of the team and coming up against the player voted the world’s best in Johnathan Thurston.

When asked about his views on coming up against the reigning Premiers at their home ground so early in the season, Robinson said:

“We’ve got to make sure we play at our best and improve on what we’ve been doing.

“It should be a good battle,” he added.
