Ahead of the final training session before the big game, let's recap on the week that was and get the Final Thoughts from the first grade squad ahead of Saturday night's clash with the Sea Eagles.

Mitchell Aubusson discussed the hunger of both sides, and whether the slow starts have contributed to his side wanting it more.

"We just want to win," he said to the media.

"That's where we are at the moment.

"They (Sea Eagles) had a really good game Monday night and they'll be ready to go."

The Roosters pride themselves on their defence, and Shaun Kenny-Dowall knows that will be the focus this week.

"We've been the benchmark in defence over the last few years," he said to the media.

"It's no secret that it's definitely fallen away, and that's a key area we're working very hard on to turnaround.

"It's been a good reality check over the first three rounds."

Kenny-Dowall plays his milestone 200 games for the Roosters this weekend, and Assistant Coach Justin Holbrook couldn't be happier for him.

"It's an awesome achievement, 200 games," he said to Anthony Minichiello at Team Talk.

"It's a special day and we need to win for him."
