Ahead of the Roosters Monday night clash with the Penrith Panthers, Kane Evans and Shaun Kenny-Dowall addressed the media to discuss the win over the Rabbitohs, and the Monday night battle.

Dylan Napa is the man of the moment after his big performance on Friday night, but Evans insists he's not getting a big head about it.

"Napa is pretty humble," he said to the media.

"He's brushed it and is just ready to play this week.

"It's only our first win, he's ready to obviously get a few in a row and we've got to build on this season."

Shaun Kenny-Dowall knows all about the Panthers form this season, and knows what to expect when they go head-to-head in Round 7.

"They're in a similar position (to us)," he said to the media.

"They've had some close games, we've had some close games, so it's probably going to be a close game."
