NRL Head Coach Trent Robinson has named a different looking 18-man squad to take on the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

It was a tough loss in Round 14, but a couple of returns and fresh faces this week will see the boys hungry for a win over an in-form Warriors side.

Blake Ferguson and Aidan Guerra are out due to Origin commitments, and Joseph Manu looks set to make his NRL debut for the Roosters on the wing this week.

Mitchell Aubusson will take Aidan Guerra's place in the backrow, while Shaun Kenny-Dowall makes his long-awaited return to the centres.

Chris Smith looks set for his first start with the Roosters, leaving Mitchell Frei as the 18th man this week.
