Sydney Roosters Legends Holiday Camps- Sydney

As the Spring school holidays come to an end, so do the Sydney Roosters Legend’s camps.

With a turn-out of well over 200 children, the camps did not disappoint.

There was something for all different personalities, both the rugby league camps and dance camps were a massive highlight.

The morning session was focused around the core fundamental skills of the game out on the park.

The kids learnt skills on tackling technique, passing and kicking.

The afternoon consisted of a tour of the Allianz Stadium change rooms and a stroll down the player’s tunnel, which allowed the children to experience the game day process for a Roosters player.

The stadium tour ended with a game of touch football on the Allianz field.

The dance camp attendees also had a fun filled day, with the girls learning hip hop, cheer and a choreographed routine which they performed to parents at the end of the day.

There were many highlights including a behind-the-scenes tour of the home dressing sheds and the chance to experience what it is like to be a Roosters dancer for the day with a stroll down the players tunnel and a sideline cheer performance.

Starring Brad Fittler, Anthony Minichiello and Braith Anasta, the childrens day ended with a legends signing session and everyone went home with a Roosters showcase bag and a day they will never forget.

Sydney Roosters Legends Holiday Camps- Terrigal

The Roosters Legends Camp hit the Central Coast on Thursday 6th October and Brendan Franklin Oval, Terrigal was the perfect venue.

More than 100 kids turned up for the day with their favourite legends Anthony Minichiello and Brad Fittler.

The children demonstrated excellent rugby league skills, taking part in tackling, speed, agility and kicking activities.

Roosters Under 20s and Terrigal Sharks Junior Jarrett Boland spoke to the kids about his time at the Roosters, what it's like playing the game, winning the Holden Cup Grand Final and the pathway from the Central Coast to the Roosters.

Every child went home with a Roosters showcase bag, autograph from their favourite Roosters legends and an unforgettable day.
