A day on the Central Coast with Anthony Minichiello

Sydney Roosters legend Anthony Minichiello spent the day on the Central Coast last Thursday visiting patients in the children’s ward at Gosford Hospital and teaching children at Terrigal Public School the very basics of rugby league.

Mini’s day started with a visit to the Ronald McDonald Family Room, a fabulous and much needed facility for patient’s families to relax, wash their clothes, shower, and cook meals whilst their loved ones are in hospital.  The Roosters legend then visited the children’s ward bringing smiles to the sick children and their families, dropping off Roosters gifts along the way.

It was then straight from the hospital and onto the football field for Anthony who spent the afternoon at Terrigal Public School teaching students from Kindergarten through to Year 3 how to tackle.  Using a tackle bag, Anthony gave tips on tackle technique to over 350 children in a fun outdoor session.

Jayden Nikorima and Ryan Matterson had a splashing time down at Bronte Nippers

Sydney Roosters stars Jayden Nikorima and Ryan Matterson joined Rocky the Rooster and the Membership team down at Bronte Beach last Sunday morning for the Roosters and Bronte Nippers Fun Day

It was a glorious morning by the water and the Roosters duo were a big hit amongst the Nippers, signing hundreds of autographs and having photographs taken with all the kids and parents. Every child went home with a Roosters poster, mini football and a big smile

A big thank you to Bronte Nippers for the day
