Maroons coach Kevin Walters has confirmed the selection of Cameron Munster and Ben Hunt for the deciding match of the Holden State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium.
Both players will be on debut for the Maroons and are the only new additions to the team which kept the series alive following a courageous 18-16 win over the Blues in Sydney.
Johnathan Thurston and Darius Boyd were both unavailable for selection after sustaining injuries in the Game II victory.
Walters has confirmed Hunt will start the match from the interchange bench and will speak to the playing group tonight before formally announcing Queensland’s new starting five-eighth and centre.
The Queensland team assembles in Brisbane this afternoon and will shift base to Camp Maroon on the Gold Coast this Wednesday in preparation for the Game III blockbuster on July 12.
